HSS Material Settings Tutorial for DAZ Studio
For those that don't know, HSS stands for Human Surface Shader. At the moment, I am rendering Rhiannon's Elsa Wylde skin using HSS settings. http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/elsa-wylde/64022
I am using one of DAZ's Elite Textures to do it quickly. But here is a quick tutorial.
1. Click on your figure: Hiro, Hiro 4, etc.
2. Make sure the skin surfaces are selected in DAZ Studio.
3. Click on the Human Surface Shader, everything should turn a glaring WHITE.
4. Go into your surface's tab and start adding in your Diffusion Maps, Bump Maps, and Specularity maps. Don't forget to set them correctly.
